I've had so many great moments in the last week! God has been confirming my decision not to go back to school left and right!! I have no doubt in the world that I made the right decision. There are lots of great opportunities on the horizon, I am just waiting to see what God has for me. :) Once I know which ones are going to work out, I will share about them too!
This week I was asked sort of last-minute to lead worship at the women's event at my church. I spent the week trying to find someone to be on my team, and no one was available! So I was rather stressed because I knew I could lead it by myself but I knew I would feel better with at least a keyboard player or another singer! It was the first time I've led worship at this church (besides the college group) so I really wanted it to go well! I kept asking God what he wanted for and from that night and I just couldn't figure out what to do. But last minute, my great friend Brad became available to play keys for me! Plus he has a great voice and can harmonize to anything. So Friday night was a success and a huge blessing! God is just teaching me a lot of things these days ;). His timing stressed me out, haha, but as usual, God took care of everything. I'm definitely working on stressing less and trusting more. Sometimes even when I KNOW God will work things out, I still stress. But God is giving me plenty of opportunities to grow in that! I'm just a major work in progress :)
I also got to sing at a dear friend of mine's church on Sunday. It was a wonderful morning. God is constantly creating so many opportunities for me! Wow! Ooh and I'm singing We Cry Out tomorrow for Overflow. I've got to find the Kim Walker inside me, haha. I'm working on it.
